Honey bee removals are one of County Pest’s specialties. When a colony establishes inside a wall, roofline, soffit, chimney, or other structural cavity, our goal is to remove the bees safely, address the hive material inside the structure, and give the colony a second chance.

What makes County Pest different is that we don’t just remove honey bees — we’re beekeepers ourselves.

County Pest maintains its own local apiary and has experienced beekeepers on staff who understand honey bee biology, colony behavior, brood development, comb construction, and proper relocation techniques. To our knowledge, we are the only local pest control company combining professional structural pest and wildlife experience with an operating apiary of our own.

When conditions allow, rescued colonies are carefully removed from the structure and relocated to our apiary, where they can be established in a proper hive and continue doing what honey bees do best.

That experience also matters during the removal itself. A honey bee colony inside a home can contain thousands of bees, pounds of honey and wax, brood comb, and hive material extending far beyond the visible entrance. Simply sealing the opening or spraying the bees can leave a much larger problem behind.
